MULAKKADA PALU POSINA KURA (DRUMSTICK WITH MILK CURRY)

Mulakada with milk curry is a tasty dish which tastes good with white rice, roti, chapathi.

 

 

Now let’s get to know how to prepare Mulakkada  Paluposina kura (Drumstick  with milk curry)

 

Below are the required ingredients to prepare Mulakkada  paluposina kura:

 

1 Mulakkada: 2
2 Milk:1 cup
3 Onions: one (bigsize)
4 Chilies: one
5 Curry leaves: one sprig
6 Black gram (mine Pappu): 1 teaspoon
7 Salt to taste.
8 Coriander: one sprig (optional)
9 Turmeric Powder: 1/2 spoon
10 Red chili powder: 2 tablespoon
11 Oil: 3 tablespoons

 

Wash and clean drumsticks. Peel the skin and cut drumsticks into two inch pieces.

 

Wash and chop onion and green chilly

 

Preparing Mulakkada paluposina kura (Drumstick with milk Curry) in 7 simple steps:

Step 1:  Take a cooking pan or vessel pour the oil and heat it for 1 minute on low flame

Step 2:  Add  black gram fry it till it changes to golden brown

Step 3:  Add curry leaves, chopped onions, green chilies and fry them until they changes to golden brown in color.

Step 4:  Add chopped drumstick  pieces and cook them covered by a lid for 5 minutes. Remove the lid add salt, turmeric powder and red chili powder mix them well. If it requires adding some water  and cook until drumsticks are almost cooked covered by a lid.

Step 5:  Finally add milk , coriander leaves cook it till milk is completely combined with the drumstick

Step 6: Finally curry ooze the oil out, turn off the flame and move it into a serving bowl and serve hot

 

Yon  can also cook this curry by using pressure cooker.It is to cook and takes less time.
